Karma Yangchi is from a small village in eastern Bhutan and she learnt the art of traditional Bhutanese weaving from her mother when she was 12. Though she did not have a chance to attend school nor go to work in an office, Karma dreams of creating beauty for the world.

The Social Enterprise has over 70 weavers aged from 25 to 65, living in Thimphu and remote villages like Radhi, Galing, Koma etc.
