Kenya
Culturally and geographically diverse, Kenya is made up of roughly 72 ethnic communities which contribute to the richness of their nation. Though a largely agricultural country which employs majority of its workforce, Kenya regularly suffers from drought which leaves workers and their families’ job and food security at risk.
Through artisan organizations, these people are given a safety net for when rain and employment is scarce, keeping their families and the culture of weaving intact and enriched further.
