At first look you probably see that our business sells East African inspired, handcrafted accessories. Our sandals and jewellery are designed with the contemporary, urban woman in mind. But there’s more to it than that and much more.

Harkiss is based on the idea of compassionate capitalism. Every product is made by East African artisans (most of whom are women responsible for supporting their entire family) in the comfortable and safe setting of a co-op in their community.
